How to turn on the Light Version of Outlook in Office 365

This article describes how to enable the "light version" of Outlook in Office 365. The "light version" resembles the old style of OWA that you may be more familiar and comfortable with.

You can have a view in Outlook on Office 365 that is similar to the old look and feel of Outlook Web App (OWA) by enabling the Light Version of the interface.

1. Go to https://www.outlook.com.

2. In the upper right corner, click Log In.

3. When prompted, type in your Vol State email address and click Next, as seen below:

4. Once you are in Outlook, click your profile icon in the upper right corner, and select My account, as seen below:

5. On your account page, click the Settings icon .

6. Near the bottom, under Your App Settings, select Mail:

7. In the Options menu, select General > Light version:

8. Check the checkbox next to Use the light version of Outlook, then click Save:
