The Virus & threat protection feature in Windows Defender detects malware and removes them. You can manually perform this scan by following these instructions.

Resolution

1. On the bottom right corner of your screen, click on the arrow.

2. Click on the Shield icon.

3. Select the Virus & threat protection button.

4. Click on Run a new advanced scan.

5. Verify that the Full scan option is selected, and click on Scan now.
