How to access Microsoft Copilot Chat

From the Vol State Homepage:

  1. Navigate to the My Vol State Portal and sign-in using your Vol State credentials.
    • Student Example: username@volstate.edu 
    • Employee Example: first.last@volstate.edu
  2. Select the Microsoft 365 App. 
  3. Choose the Apps you would like to use by selecting the waffle icon "⋮⋮⋮" in the upper-left corner of the page.
    • Common Apps like Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Word will appear
    • For additional apps select the "More Apps" icon. 

Students can install the entire Microsoft Suite on your computer by following steps found in the KB Article "Installing Microsoft 365 for Students".
