How to Setup Mobility Printing on Campus Laptops

Student printing using your home computer, laptop, or chromebook.

Setting up Mobility Printing allows users to print to the Konica Minolta Printers from their personal or checkout laptops. You will need to be on Campus connected to the VSCC WiFi to successfully install this application.

Please contact the IT Help Desk at (615)230-3302 if you wish to set up Mobility Printing on a Checkout Laptop from IT.

1. From your Browser, go to http://198.146.125.182:9163/client-setup/windows.html

2. On the webpage, click on the "Download" button.

3. When the download has finished, open "File Explorer" from the Windows "Taskbar."

4. In "File Explorer," click on "Downloads" from the side bar. Right-click on the Mobility Printer Setup file and select  "Open."

5. Once you open the file, it may prompt you to allow the application to make changes to your PC, select "Yes."
NOTE: If you are on a VSCC Laptop that you checked out you will need to call the IT Help Desk at 615-230-3302 to assist you with this step.

6. After you have allowed the application to make changes to your PC it will begin the Setup. The default language is English, when you've chose what language you would like to use click "OK."

7. After choosing the language, a prompt will appear requesting for the user to accept an End User License Agreement (EULA). Read through the terms of the agreement, select "I accept the agreement," then select "Next."

8. Allow the application to scan for printers.

9. Make sure "SP-Find-Me-Gal [Gallatin Campus]" is checked, then select "Next."

10. It will ask you to enter your Vol State Username and Password. If you need to retrieve your Username or reset your Password this this link here.

11. Click "Finish."

12. From now on, you can print to the Konica Minolta printers from your personal or checkout laptop while on campus. Print as you normally would, making sure that SP-Find-Me-Gal is selected whenever you print.
