Grades: Schemes

Grade schemes allow you to view and show students a different way to look at their grades. In the eLearn grade book, the default scheme is a pure percentage in numeric form. Creating your own scheme can allow you to indicate when a certain score equals a specific letter grade, such as 92% = A, 87% = B, etc. You can also create unique schemes such as pass/fail or complete/incomplete on any percentage thresholds you determine.

To create a scheme:

1. On the Schemes page, click New Scheme.
2. In the General area, enter the scheme Name.
3. In the Ranges area, enter your scheme details. If you do not assign a value in the Assigned Value % field, the Start % is used as the default.
4. To add more levels to your scheme, click Add Ranges.
5. Click Save and Close.
