CloudBadging setup for printing IDs

This article assumes that the printer is installed and configured on this computer.  If not, please submit a ticket for IT to install it.

  1. Use Chrome Browser
    1. In the Chrome menu, click Print… (doesn't matter what webpage you are on) to open the print preview screen.
    2. Change Layout to be Landscape
    3. Click More Settings.
    4. Change Paper ISO ID-1 (85.6 x 53.98)
    5. Uncheck Headers and Footers. (may not appear)
    6. Change Margins to None
    7. Two Sided: Check Print on Both Sides, Chose Flip on short edge.
  2. Go to website cloudbadging.com.  If you have not received an email to create your account please contact the IT Help Desk.
  3. Click on Configure your Printer
    1. Use Printer Brand
      1. Datacard
    2. Printer Type
      1. CD810
    3. Additional Printer Options
      1. Select Duplex
    4. Click Update Settings
  4. Click Start Menu
    1. Settings
      1. Devices
        1. Printers and Scanners
        2. Click on XPS Card Printer
        3. Click Manage
        4. Click on Printer Preferences
        5. Click Layout and make sure Orientation is Landscape and Print on Both Sides, Flip on Short Edge
  5. Click on Print
    1. Click on Student Card Template
    2. Click New Record
      1. Type Vnumber, First Name, Last Name
      2. Photo
        1. Click on "Use Webcam"
          1. First time in Chrome will have to click to Allow Webcam to be used
            1. If there is a webcam in addition to the ID camera you may have to click Manage, and chose the ID Pro Camera as the one that Google will utilize.
        2. Once image is taken you will need to crop image.
        3. Click Apply Adjustments
