The Vol State Emergency Text Alerts service will text you with information regarding emergencies and important notices, including weather closings and delays, building evacuations, and dangers requiring lockdown or shelter-in-place.
All registered students are automatically signed up for these alerts.
If you are a current faculty or staff at Vol State, you can sign up for the text alerts by clicking here.
If you do not wish to receive these text alerts, or you are no longer affiliated with the college and are still receiving alerts, you can opt-out by texting the word "STOP" to any text alert sent by the Marketing, Communications, and Media Services office.
First Time Registration
You will have received an email from Rave Wireless Attendant. In this email, you will find a link to the Rave Notification website along with the username created for you and a temporary password. Once you log in, you will need to create a new password.
Upon successful login, you will be shown the page above. Here you can change your password, confirm or change your default phone number, etc.
This is the service opt-in page. Here, you can choose which campus alerts you would like to receive. Simply check the box for the campus alert and the service will automatically update.
