How do I scan my campus PC for viruses?

To scan your PC for viruses, follow the steps below:

Windows 11

  1. Right-click the Windows button (An image of the Windows Button) to open the shortcut menu.
  2. Click on the "Settings" option in the shortcut menu.

  3. In the Settings App, click on "Privacy & security" on the left-hand pane, and then click "Windows Security" at the top under the "Secuity" section.

  4. Click the "Open Windows Security" button.

  5. Click on "Virus & threat protection" on the left-hand pane.

You can use the "Quick Scan" option if you wish to run a Quick Scan, but most users should default to a "Full scan" if they're worried about an infection. By clicking on "Scan options," you can select which kind of scan you wish to run on the device.
