Password/Passphrase Reset Instructions
Your password/passphrase can be created once you have selected to "Set/Reset Password" through the Password Reset Utility and then:
- Enter your email.
- Select how you would like to reset your password from the provided list.
- Follow the provided prompts.
Passwords must contain 16 characters from at least three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase alphabet characters (A-Z)
- English lowercase alphabet characters (a-z)
- Base 10 digits (0-9)
- Non-alphanumeric characters
And...
- Passwords MUST NOT contain ANY part of your full name, username, or V number.
- Past passwords CANNOT be reused; please select a NEW password.
You will use your Vol State log-in credentials for the following systems:
- Campus Network (both wired and wireless)
- Wireless access is only available to currently enrolled students with an active Vol State user account and should be available by the first day of the semester.
- D2L/eLearn,
- Degree Works
- Outlook
- Teams
- Library Databases
