These are instruction on Disabling and Enabling App Lock in Microsoft Authenticator. App Lock is enabled by default on Authenticator, it adds an extra layer of security by prompting the user to insert their PIN every time the Application is opened. However, if users so choose, they can disable App Lock from the Settings Menu in Authenticator.
1.) Open the Authenticator App, if App Lock is enabled it will prompt you for your PIN or Touch ID.
2a.) If on iOS, click on the Hamburger Icon ( ☰ ) at the top-left of the screen, then select Settings.
2b.) If on Android, click the Kebab Icon ( ⋮ ) at the top-right of the screen, then select Settings.
3.) In Settings Menu, scroll down until you reach the Security Settings, and toggle off App Lock.
