How do I connect (and disconnect) to (from) the Vol State Wi-Fi?

Connecting

Vol State provides wireless access for currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. If you are a visitor wishing to have Wi-Fi access please take a moment to access the KB article "Self-Service Wireless Access for Vol State Guests & Visitors". 

Steps:

  1. Ensure that your device's Wi-Fi is turned on under Settings.
  2. Connect to the VSCC wireless network.
  3. Input your Vol State username and password.
  4. Press Connect.
Some devices may require you to trust the Certificate before connecting.
Android devices require additional configuration in order to connect. Please take a moment to access the KB article "How to Connect (and Disconnect) an Android Device to the Wi-Fi."

 

Disconnecting

  1. Ensure that your device's Wi-Fi is turned on under Settings.
  2. Tap the information bubble icon to the right of the VSCC Wi-Fi network.
  3. Tap on Forget This Network.
  4. Confirm by tapping on Forget.
