Requesting Accessibility Documentation & Creating Alternate Access Plans

When purchasing digital resources & software, accessibility documentation needs to be requested from the vendor and reviewed for compliance. For items that are not compliant, an alternate access plan needs to be developed to ensure that all Vol State students and employees can use the resource.

Using Accessible Video and Audio

Using Amara to Improve YouTube Captions

All videos used at Vol State need captions that are 99% accurate. Amara is a free tool that allows users to add an overlay of captions (or translations) to a YouTube or Vimeo video.
